01. The Challenge
The challenge was to create a virtual world on Roblox for GoDash, a delivery app, that would effectively promote its brand and services while engaging players in an immersive and interactive experience. The goal was to design a game where players could simulate the delivery process by collecting boxes containing various products and delivering them to designated drop-off areas. Additionally, we needed to address technical complexities such as simulating realistic movement mechanics, integrating custom assets, and ensuring seamless gameplay. The project also aimed to appeal to Roblox’s diverse audience, particularly younger players who enjoy adventure and exploration games.
02. The Solution
To meet these objectives, we developed a comprehensive strategy:
- Brand Integration : We designed the virtual world around GoDash’s vibrant and modern aesthetic, featuring bright colors and dynamic elements that reflect the brand’s identity. The central hub, “GoDash Delivery City Hub,” was crafted to feel like a bustling, futuristic city filled with excitement.
- Interactive Gameplay : Players embark on an adventure across the GoDash Delivery City Hub, where they must locate and collect boxes containing different products (e.g., food, toys, electronics) scattered throughout the environment. These boxes continuously respawn, encouraging players to keep exploring and delivering. Upon reaching the drop-off area, drones take over, simulating the final step of the delivery process.
- Custom Assets : High-quality 3D models of the GoDash logo, delivery boxes, and various product items were created and integrated into the game environment. This added realism and ensured players felt immersed in the delivery experience.
- Reward System : Players earn GoDash Coins for each successful delivery, which can be used to unlock exclusive virtual merchandise and rewards in a rotating store. This incentivizes continuous play and keeps players engaged over time.
- User-Friendly Interface : We ensured the game was intuitive, with clear markers indicating product locations and drop-off points. Players could easily navigate the hub and track their progress without frustration.
- Community Engagement : Social features were incorporated, allowing players to share their achievements, such as the number of deliveries completed or unique rewards unlocked, with friends. This fosters community interaction and amplifies organic reach.
03. The Result
The pre-launch preparation positioned GoDash for a successful debut on Roblox:
